That's right kids, I was going to do a children's book that would be out at the end next summer. The editorial staff was all excited about it, and even I liked this preliminary painting. (that's saying something) However, the prima donna author thought it wasn't "natural" and had it torpedoed. So let this be a lesson to you kids out there. Even if your assured a job, don't count on it till you have that contract in your hot little hands. Luckily I like the people at this publisher and hopefully they'll give me more work soon.
